Is Mold Hiding in Your Home?
In Florida's warm and humid climate, mold can be a persistent concern for homeowners. Beyond being unsightly, elevated levels of mold spores can impact indoor air quality, trigger allergies, and cause damage to your property. Our professional mold assessment and testing services provide you with clear, scientific answers, helping you make informed decisions about your home's health.
Our Two-Step Process
We follow a methodical process to deliver accurate and actionable results:
Step 1: Visual Mold Assessment
In accordance with InterNACHI's Mold Inspection Standards of Practice, we begin with a comprehensive visual assessment of the property. We search for visible signs of mold-like substances and, more importantly, identify the sources of moisture that allow mold to thrive. This includes looking for plumbing leaks, condensation issues, and areas of high humidity.
Step 2: Air & Surface Sampling (Testing)
If a potential issue is identified or if you require scientific certainty, we proceed with sampling. This is the only way to definitively confirm the presence, type, and concentration of mold spores. We take air and/or surface swab samples, which are then sent to a trusted, accredited third-party laboratory for analysis.
Understanding Your Lab Results
Lab reports can be complex and difficult to understand. We simplify the process for you. Along with the official lab findings, we provide a clear, easy-to-read summary that interprets the data. Our report will tell you if the mold spore concentrations in your home are elevated compared to the outdoor environment and recommend the next steps, such as consulting a qualified remediation professional if necessary.
